Career Management at PIBS is planned with the aim of preparing the students right from their initial thoughts about career possibilities & option evaluation, through to personal preparation, skill set ramp up culminating into the final hiring process. There will also be a constant focus on teaching students the skills to market themselves - to compete and win top jobs besides assisting them in making informed, strategic careers decisions and to create a foundation for lifelong career management.

Based on the career objective identified during the Self-Assessment stage, the students in this stage are guided to undertake activities that will position them for success in their chosen area. This is also the phase in which the students take their first shot at what their eventual CV would look like. This section aims at empowering students with all the ammunition required to make them marketable in the job market.

Smart Sector Series is the phase in which students will be delivered sector knowledge through presentations on wide range of industries such as finance, marketing, consulting, technology etc based on the specific interests of the students. During this stage students can learn about key industry developments and the attributes that are required for success in different fields.

During this stage, sessions will be conducted on resume reviews, interview training, group discussions and interpersonal skills to ensure that the students are prepared for the final job interview. Mock sessions will be conducted to gear students for the final test.

Career Management activities culminate with the campus hiring exercise. Campus hiring is planned to be held in the final semester. This is the stage where on-campus recruiters participate in the hiring exercise and provide job offer to suitable candidates.
